42nd Annual Dinner Meeting May 7
Annual Dinner Meeting and Program on May 7 will Commemorate 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence
The Shorewood Historical Society will hold their Annual Dinner Meeting on Thursday, May 7 at Hubbard Lodge. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and followed by the annual meeting, which includes a report of the past year’s activities and election of Historical Society Board members.
Program speaker will be Dr. Patrick Mullins, Associate Professor of History at Marquette University. His research focuses on the cultural and intellectual origins of the American Revolution in America and England. Dr. Mullins is also curator of a current exhibit at the Haggerty Museum entitled “Defying Empire: Revolutionary Prints from Britain and America”, which will be on display until August 1.
