The Shorewood Historical Society is celebrating the centennial of many of its schools. Walking tours and presentations at the Shorewood Public Library are given throughout the year.

Lake Bluff Elementary School celebrated it's centennail birthday Saturday, Sept. 21st with self-guided tours, cupcakes, beverages, and dedication ceremony on the western side of the building.
