Archive Collections

The Shorewood Historical Society collects, preserves, and stores documents, images and objects that help us share Shorewood’s stories. The collections reflect the history of Shorewood from its beginnings to the present. Collections are housed in our archives and are available for viewing by appointment.

• History of Shorewood businesses, past and present (Hayek Pharmacy and former barber shops)
• Histories of village government, fire and police departments, and Shorewood schools
• The WPA and Shorewood – Federal Writers Project book and murals
